The complex is also home to a branch of the Calgary Public Library and popular ice rinks.

The expansion and redevelopment project expands the existing facility by 50% and includes innovative spaces such as an indoor park and courtyard that will be open to the public and utilized for special events and programs. The aquatic and fitness facilities will be expanded along with specialized program and support spaces.
